Framework Laptop 13

Watch Review
Pros

Fully upgradeable

Excellent Linux support

Great display for a 13.5 inch laptop

The best selection of ports of any laptop

No bloatware

Cons

Expensive for what it is

AMD Ryzen 7 Zen 5 CPUs are weak compared to Intel's current offering

Looks and feels like a cheap laptop

The Framework 13 is a bespoke laptop best suited for Software Developers and Techies.

It is unique in that the laptop is fully upgradeable. Unlike other manufacturers, Framework have consistently delivered on this mission- releasing a host of upgrades and improvements.

The laptop is very focused on software developers. It has a 3 by 2 aspect ratio high resolution bright matte display. This is as good as you're going to get on a 13.5 inch laptop. Its perfect for looking at small code in a variety of conditions. Also, the laptop has excellent Linux support.

Its main downside is price, its Ryzen 7 Zen 5 CPUs, and that it looks and feels like a pretty cheap laptop. On the CPU, the Ryzen 7 Zen 5 CPUs are inferior to Intel's current offering.

For its price we feel there are other laptops that are definitely worth considering over the Framework like the MacBook Pro 14. That laptop is much more powerful, has better battery life, a larger display, a better trackpad, better webcam, better speakers, and feels better built.
