Lenovo LOQ 15
The LOQ for 2026 is a great budget gaming laptop. Much improved over prior versions. It is smaller and lighter, the battery life is much longer, the ghosting issue is fixed, and the trackpad is better. Just be aware the AMD model uses an older Zen 4 CPU. Even though the dedicated GPU is fed full power, the CPU can hold you back a little in some games and creator applications. If you get the AMD model cheap enough, this may not be an issue though.

Feels more premium than the prior model, especially with the improved trackpad.
Much better battery life than previous LOQ models, among the best in the budget gaming laptop segnment.
Supports G-syncs and Advanced Optimus which is not that common on budget laptops.
Fantastic keyboard with 1.6mm of key travel and full-sized arrow keys.
The AMD Ryzen 7 250 model has much poorer CPU performance and is based on an older rebadged Zen 4 chip, not a modern Zen 5 one.
Maximum unplugged performance drops noticeably on battery, particularly on the Panther Lake model.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 feel a bit underwhelming for a brand-new 2026 gaming laptop.
