The Zephyrus G16 is an excellent portable gaming laptop, that we recommend. The 2025 version of the G16 is much improved. It is around 15% faster in CPU and GPU performance and is quieter and a little cooler to the touch than the prior generation. Battery life is also improved this year. Its main downside is that its GPU is capped at 130 watts. So high performance GPUs like the 5080 and 5090 perform poorly when compared to full wattage laptops like the Razer Blade 16. When choosing between the 5070 and 5070 Ti pay particular attention to VRAM. The 5070 Ti has more 12 GB. It will run games much better on the screens native 2560 x 1600 resolution.
