The Alienware 16 Area 51 is a high-end premium gaming laptop. It now comes with an OLED display with a more effective anti-reflective coating than most OLED displays we see in gaming laptops. That being said, the Area 16 is very heavy. We thought it would perform well with great thermals, but it disappoints. It doesn't perform the best in its class, it gets hot around the all important WSAD keys, and it has very loud fan noise. If you want an Alienware, we prefer the 18-inch version as it has much better thermals. Given how heavy both of them are, you are unlikely to move them around much, so you may as well get the better version. If you do want a 16-inch performance gaming laptop, get the Legion Pro 7i or Strix Scar 16 (Both linked below).

Performs well amongst competitors
Thunderbolt 5
Full-Sized SD Card Reader
Has both IPS and OLED matte screen options
Has a very good mechanical keyboard option.
Extremely heavy
Feels warm even in light use, unless the fans are running faster, which makes it very loud.
Soldered Wi-Fi card (though it is Wi-Fi 7)
No Ethernet Port
Very poor battery life, even for a gaming laptop.
