The Zen 4 based Ryzen 5 7235HS CPU performance is very close to other Zen 4 based Ryzen 5 laptop CPUs on more expensive laptops.

The display supports G-Sync and has a MUX Switch, which is better than many other budget gaming laptops at this price point.

Memory, storage, and Wi-Fi are upgradeable, with two SSD slots available. 

The keyboard is very good, with 1.5mm of key travel and full-sized arrow keys.

Good port selection, including USB-C with 100W charging, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, and rear-mounted ports for cleaner cable management. Also has no ports on the left side and minimal ports on the right.

The Ryzen 5 7235HS CPU does not have an iGPU. This means much worse battery life and a warmer feeling laptop as it can only use the dedicated GPU for graphics.

The 16:9 aspect ratio of the screen can be limiting for productivity.

Wi-Fi 6 instead of at least Wi-Fi 6E feels a bit underwhelming for a gaming laptop sold in 2026.

No USB4 port.

The model with the RTX 4050 GPU has only 6 GB of vRAM, making some games hard to run or not run well at the highest settings even at 1920x1080.
