Very thin and light for a high performance gaming laptop
Looks stunning
Excellent keyboard
Great port selection
Powerful GPUs
Good OLED fast refresh rate display (G-Sync, Advanced Optimus)
Feels cool to the touch, even during gaming or video editing
Very buggy - Trackpad sometimes doesn't work, Frame drops in games if Synapse is open
Expensive
Dreadful support with short return window
CPU underperforms compared to Intel's latest HX chip
Never completely silent even on Silent mode
The Razer Blade 16 is the laptop I hate to love. There is nothing quite like it. It's super thin and light, looks absolutely stunning, and delivers huge performance for its size. However, Razer continues its trend of delivering an unreliable product full of issues with woeful support. More than half of owners surveyed on Reddit have reported major issues. The trackpad frequently stops working. Dropped frames in games when Synapse is opened, and several other issues. Razer's support takes forever to diagnose these issues and often asks you to do time intensive tasks like reinstall the operating system, which doesn't fix the issue. Also Razers return window is short at 14 calendar days. So many buyers are stuck with a very expensive laptop with issues. Finally, for a laptop this expensive, Razer fails to get alot of little things right such as the speakers and webcam. These should be better. They are on the similarly priced MacBook Pro 16 Overall, buy at your own risk. We have put some safer alternative recommendations below
